Porsche blocks employee Facebook access

Porsche AG has decided to block the Facebook and social networking access for all it’s employees. The idea behind this move is to prevent the automobile manufacturer from a scenario of industrial espionage.
The Stuttgart based sports car manufacturer believes that the information posted by employees on social networking sites like Facebook may help intelligence services to spy on workers and the company as a whole.
Facebook has been under fire recently for not giving enough privacy to the personal information which it’s 500 million users post. Facebook had promised earlier this year, in May to be precise, that it will be reworking the privacy settings allowing users more flexibility in managing their data and it’s secrecy.
